Hi girls,

I've finally done my first winter nailart for my trip to Lapland.
I did it every year as it is very simple to do but always nice !
Can't wait to do some others !

Tape mani

Hey girls !

Even if the tape mani is not really hard to realize, I'm not really keen on it as I always end with a lot of tape stuck everywhere on me ...
But few days ago I was a bit board with my blue mani and wanted to change it quickly (was very tired so didn't have much time ...)
So I've just stick some tape here and there and after long (very long) minutes and few meters (...) of tape here's the result !
The pink wasn't covering enough but I pretty liked it.

I didn't keep it very long (one day I guess ...) because I wanted to try again ;)

So I've redone a tape mani and this time I'm pretty proud of me (as I didn't waste to much tape and it didn't take me hours !)

I really like these colors (even if usually pink isn't my favorite color ...) I guess it's because of the glitters ;)

Late Halloween nails

Halloween season

Hey ladies,

I'm so happy that Halloween season has finally arrived (one of the best nailart season to me - with Christmas of course !)

So I started doing my Halloween nails one week ago :)
I've already done these two designs :
1st one was done in the train to Paris so it's a bit shaky ... ;)
2nd one was a good excuse to try my two new polished bought at Sephora (in Paris ...) the dye effect and the "artypois" are so cool and working very well !

Tribal nails

Hey girls,

I've been sick last week, and what on earth can cure me up better than nail art ?! Nothing !!!

So I had all day to do something nice on my nails :)

After spending 4 hours (...) searching for a cool nail art to do, I found it on SupaNails (http://supanails.tumblr.com/post/1243582317/stripy-tribal) !

Mine is not as great as the one on this SupaBlog but for a first time is pretty good !

Usually it is "easy" to do some stripes but this time my hands were shaking like I was cold ... It's maybe due to the sickness ...

Valentine's nails

Hello ladies,

With one day late, here is my Valentine's nail art.

It's not very clear but the little hearts are neon purple and neon pink.
I'm pretty proud of it, even if it's not very regular ...

Totally not a winter nail art ...

It's me again ...

I didn't know what to do on my nails today (as mentioned before), the only thing that I knew is that I want to go to bed quickly ...

A sponge mani is pretty fast so I totally improvised a sponged french ...

Yes ... well ... Let's have a look on what I've done ...

It couldn't be that bad if we were in summer !

But, as you probably know, at this moment in Central Europe it's freezing !

At the end of the week it will be -15C in Switzerland ... and not on the top of the mountain ... in my city, 400m over the sea ... It's like snowmaggedon in here !!!

Well, I think my nails aren't really appropriate ... maybe they will make the sun reappears sooner than expected !

Anyway, now I'm tired ...

Cindy : the return !

Hello ladies !

I was reaching the web to find out what to do on my nails today and SUDDENLY, I remember "Gosh ! I'have got a blog !!! Sure there's some awesome pics on it !"

As fast as I remember I have a blog, I remember I haven't post any (awesome or not) picture on it for a veeeeeeeeery long time !

First of all, I think you deserve some excuses. I even cannot remind me last time I posted on the blog.

Anyway, I'll try to post more often :)

But even if I don't post, I keep doing my nails ... so I have a lot of pictures (good or bad quality) to show you !

So here there're some of them ...

Mauve polish with white dots and a handmade pink bow ... Very girly, not exactly my style but I did like it :)

A nail art I found randomly on the web ... and I tried to reproduce.

Honestly I was a bit disappointed when one of my colleague told me "How cute are these little ghosts !"

GHOSTS ???? Really ?! It's -5C° outside and the first thing you say when you see my nails is "ghosts" ?!?!?!

First try of the "Nail fashion sticker" from Essence. They last for 5 days. They were great and not expensive.

My New Year nails ! A gradiant with two different gold glitter polishes.

I didn't have lot of time to do my nails at this period of the year but I tried to do some champagne glasses ... That's not my best nail art ever but I liked it ... It was party time !!!

(My thumb has a really wierd shape on this picture ... :-S)

Back from the Windy City with a Chicago polish !

Hello everyone !

It's been almost a month since I came back from Chicago and I've been a really bad blogger since then, I'm really sorry about that. I hope you all had wonderful holidays and that you celebrated the New Year with you family and loved ones.

Chicago was an incredible experience and I have to admit I miss that city and also the people I met there... alot !  I also met another blog which was a lot of fun. Go check Allison's blog here !

Anyway, for my first post of 2012, I thought it was appropriate to show you a polish from the OPI Chicago collection from 2005. Btw, I broke my middle finger nail just before taking those pictures so forgive me about that.

The color I chose from that collection is Mrs O'Leary's BBQ which refers to the Great Chicago Fire. Rumor has it, it was caused by Mrs O'Leary's cow... Anyway, interesting name.

This is two coats of creamy, buttery, vampy red burgundy polish that applies perfectly. You have to watch out for bald spots though.

If you're a regular follower you'll know that I absolutely adore that kind of color. It's always chic, goes with everything and therefore easy to wear. That's definitely a color I'll be wearing again.

So now that you know what I think about it, I would love to know what you think. What is your favorite burgundy polish ? Have you ever been to Chicago ? Any memory from the Windy City you want to share with us ?

Chicago...and one Luxeffects !

Hello dear followers,

I'm really sorry I've been such a bad bloggers for the past weeks. I'm currently in Chicago after a week in Miami and a week in NYC. I've been in Chicago for 2 and half weeks now and I absolutely love the city. I'm taking some english classes in case you were wondering what the heck I am doing so far from home.

Today I went to an amazing beauty supply store.... They have a TONE of nail products, from treatments to nail polishes. They sell Essie, OPI, China Glaze, Color Club and some other brands. Oh and the best part about the store ? The prices !!! Essie and OPI nail polishes are only 4.75 dollars ! And they have all the new collections. Two words: Polish Heaven !

I've already been there once (like 2 weeks ago) and they got new products since then. Today, I was able to find the new Essie Luxeffects collection ! I only picked one of the 5 colors: Shine of the Times which is, from the swatches I've seen, pretty similar to Nubar - 2010 and its dupes.

On the next pictures I'm wearing two coats of OPI - Road House Blues (from my first trip to the store) and one coat of Essie - Shine of the Times. I really like this combo. Let me know if you like it too or if there another color I should try SotT on.

I'm sorry about the bad cleaning, I don't have all my cleaning stuff so it's a bit tricky to get a perfect mani.... (that's also one of the reasons why I've been so absent lately, I didn't want to put some bad swatches on the blog...but I can't wait to show you what this Luxeffects looks like!).

Pretty, huh ?! I'm sure my sister will be really happy about this new addition to our stash... Aren't you babe ?
